Dear Members of IIPA December 12, 2017

Proposals for our conference program keep arriving each day. As part of the Program Committee I am writing to invite you to make a proposal for a workshop at the International Integrative Psychotherapy Association’s Conference in Montpellier, France. The Educational portion of the program will be held on Thursday, Friday & Saturday, March 21, 22 & 23, 2019.

In this conference we will explore two central concepts: the role of Attunement and Involvement in facilitating a healing therapeutic relationship and the art and science of facilitating our client’s internal integration of affect, physiology, cognition, and behaviour. This conference will include a variety of theoretical presentations, demonstrations of various therapeutic methods, case discussions of therapeutic work with actual clients, and an exploration of the philosophies and ethics of Integrative Psychotherapy.

If you are interested in presenting at this 2019 Conference please send us a proposal in English consisting of a title that relates to the theme, a 50 to 75 word description of your workshop, and a 25 word biographical statement. Please indicate what language you will use so that we can plan for translation. If you will be presenting in a language other than English please send the proposal in your preferred language as well as in English. Send your proposal before December 20, 2017 in a Word document to: Richard@IntegrativeTherapy.com.

Proposals will be selected at the end of December, 2017 and will be accepted according to the theme, content, workshop format, and date received. For 3-hour workshops, in addition to the teaching of concepts, we encourage presenters to do live or video demonstrations that reflect the Art and Science of Integrative Psychotherapy, and to engage the attendees in a discussion of the theory and methods use in the demonstration.

Please do not delay in sending your proposal to the Program Committee. We look forward to your presentation at the 2019 Conference.

Sincerely,
Richard Erskine, for the Program Committee
