How we use information. Storage and management of personal information?
We are only storing your information for our internal purposes. We will not share your information with anyone outside of the IIPA.
Members, former members and non-members
The only data that are kept in our books are name, number, e-mail address, website and status in the organization. We will remove this information at your request.
What is the information used for?
We use this information for internal communication, conference planning, membership update, general communication and certification. Each member has the right to decide if they want their information displayed on our website. Please inform us if you don’t want your information displayed.
Sharing of information
We do not share information for anything besides the business of the association.
Member certification process
The data regarding the certification process will be erased by the IIPA. Please keep a copy of what you submitted for your records and for possible future use.”
Members and non-members who attend IIPA events
We may use photographs or videos from our events. At your request we will delete your image from any unwanted use.
You have rights as an individual data subject which you can exercise in relation to the information we hold about you. Complaints and queries: we take any complaints about data protection seriously. We encourage you to let us know if you think that our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate. Please send any requests for this to our DPO (Data Protection Officer) at: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Information on the IIPA website is provided by our members and individual members are responsible for the accuracy of the information.
